To make a t-shirt design that would spur fundraising sales for
pulmonary fibrosis research.

A St. Louis-area charitable group hosted a washers tournament in
2003 to help generate awareness and donations for pulmonary
fibrosis research. The inaugural “Washers 4 Wellness” tournament
sparked imitators that slowly began to draw participants (and their
donations) away from the organizing committee.

We were asked to create a logo for the official St. Louis Chapter and
a t-shirt design highlighting the chapter’s “original” tournament.

Each t-shirt equaled a $10 donation to the charity, and more than
$20,000 was raised in t-shirt sales alone.
